Title Clerk

LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a valued client to identify a detail-oriented Title Clerk to support a high-volume administrative and documentation team. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity offering long-term growth potential for candidates who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and maintaining accuracy in critical records and documentation. This position will pay between $20 and $23/hr. depending on experience.

Position Details

• Full-time, Monday-Friday
• 8-hour shift with start times between 7:00 AM and 9:00 AM
• Occasional overtime as business needs require.

Key Responsibilities

• Process, organize, and maintain title and ownership documentation related to acquired vehicles and inventory.
• Track title status within internal systems and update records to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and submit title applications and supporting documentation to appropriate agencies and third parties.
• Match incoming titles with corresponding files and verify completeness and accuracy.
• Research and resolve missing titles by communicating with financial institutions, vendors, government agencies, and other external contacts.
• Run regular reporting, review outstanding title issues, and provide status updates to internal stakeholders.
• Assist team members with title processing, registrations, mailings, and other administrative functions as needed.
• Maintain organized records and ensure compliance with established procedures.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Prior title processing, dealership office, records management, or administrative experience is preferred.
• Industry experience is a plus but not required.
