Build a Winning Culture.Fox Grand Traverse Ford is seeking an experienced, highly motivated General Sales Manager to lead our new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations.We're looking for a proven automotive sales leader who understands that exceptional dealership performance begins with exceptional people, strong processes, and consistent accountability.This is an outstanding opportunity for a results-driven professional to join an established dealership supported by the resources of Fox Motors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee all aspects of new and pre-owned vehicle sales operations.Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales management team and sales consultants.Increase retail sales volume, market share, gross profit, and overall departmental performance.Establish clear expectations, monitor key performance indicators, and drive accountability.Oversee inventory management, vehicle pricing, merchandising, and inventory turn.Implement effective sales processes that improve customer engagement, closing ratios, and overall sales effectiveness.Collaborate with Finance, Service, and dealership leadership to maximize performance and customer satisfaction.Develop and execute strategies to achieve manufacturer sales objectives and dealership growth goals.Create a positive, competitive, customer-focused culture built on teamwork and integrity.QualificationsSignificant automotive retail management experience, preferably as a General Sales Manager or successful New or Used Vehicle Sales Manager.Proven record of increasing sales volume, profitability, and market share.Strong leadership, coaching, and team-development skills.Thorough understanding of automotive sales operations, desking, inventory management, and F&I processes.Experience using dealership management systems, CRM platforms, and performance analytics.Excellent communication, decision-making, and organizational skills.Ability to lead by example in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.What Sets Our Ideal Candidate Apart?We're looking for more than an experienced desk manager.
